Louisa has influenced, touched and inspired people with her voice since the age of seven. Through the years she has sung in various choirs and for 10 years, managed her own Louisiana Band that played in various towns across the Maritimes. A career highlight for Louisa happened in 1993 when she cut a mini-album with award winning producer Randall Prescott. One of her singles I Don't Think I Love You charted nationally. Her Only Memories video aired on TNN in the U.S. Boy Oh Boy Girl, her second video, attained coast to coast play on CMT (Canada).

She has been nominated in the past for six Nova Scotia Country Music Awards including Top Female, Top Entertainer and Best Video. Louisa has been chosen as a feature performer on both N.S.C.M.A. award shows and entertained on Tom Jackson's Huron Carol Benefit Concern at the Rebecca Cohn in Halifax.

Louisa has been recognized by her peers with numerous musical award nominations, has performed prestigious ECMA and CCMA showcases and has shared the stage with many world class artists such as Billy Ray Cyrus, April Wine, Bobby Curtola and Doug and the Slugs.

Her career is in high momentum as she continues to gain recognition for her talents. During Nova Scotia Music week (November 200l) Louisa captured the main stage showcase held at Casino Nova Scotia.

Each song chosen for CATCH A RAINBOW touched me in some way. I relate to each one of them - sometimes serious, sometimes playful and other times providing a helping hand with words. The lyrics and musical style reflect my positive and fun outlook on life. This CD is brimming with this joy, including the first single , Fallin in Love, and the second single, Where Only Eagles Fly, which are receiving national airplay across Canada.

I have worked hard to keep the fire burning performing and honing my craft preparing for the release of my new project. I hope you enjoy the melodious contemporary county offerings I have chosen.
